*Goosebump Test*-Who gives 'em to you and why?

I have always found that the dancers that give me goosebumps, or make me cry, are the ones I truly think are great. I believe the reason why they make me feel this way is because they are totally in sinc with the music, and when that happens, the floodgates of emotion are opened in the brain and body.

Some people who have passed this "goosebump test" for me are:

Amani of Lebanon
Dina of Cairo
Eva Cernik
Faten Ali Munger
Suhaila Salimpour
Jasmin Jahal
Samara of NYC
Virginia of Miami
Laila Gamal
Mona Al Said
Nadia Gamal
Dalia Carella
Serena Ramzy
Hadia of Canada
Samia Gamal

By no means in any order, either...

Who does this for you, and why do you think it is?

  • Aaaaahhhh, Amani, my fave.
    Nadia Gamal, yes.
    Samia Gamal.
    Suhaila.
And one of my old troupemates, Alia(Clare Hofgren), I STILL cry when I watch this one solo of hers.

    Oh yeah, and Amani.
By the way, did I say Amani?
    :)

I think it is just some dancers who completely click with the music and do something so amazingly beautiful that it moves you to tears.
This has happened to me watching other dance forms too. Just something cathartic, that happens in the presence of great art.
